WHY PILATES AT 40 PARK WELLNESS STANDS OUT?
Our studio is equipped with the classical Pilates machines. These machines are designed with anatomical proportions to the human body. We teach the Pilates method as was taught at the original studio.
At 40 Park Pilates you will get results.

Spiro is the owner and executive chef of Rutherford and Maywood Pancake houses. After working in the restaurant business for four decades he began experiencing debilitating lower back pain. Years of chiropractic care and traditional physical therapy did nothing to eliminate the pain. It progressively got worse.
A script for an MRI was eventually ordered. The MRI showed severe degeneration and herniation in the lumbar spine. He consulted with multiple spine surgeons for possible treatment options. Spinal fusion was the only option until he found pilates.
40 Park wellness is a classical Pilates studio outfitted with all the archival exercise apparatus designed by Joe Pilates. It is operated by instructor Spiro Alexander who became a Pilates teacher after experiencing the rehabilitative results of the “Pilates Method”.
It is also a yoga studio that is focused on the mind body connection of the yoga pose and meditation, and the integration of sound bath rejuvenation.
